Avatars

In order to facilitate the use of 'legendary' species by players. We have come up with the idea of Avatars. Avatars are moral incarnations that contain a mere sliver of the power of their patron.

Rules

Listed here are all of the rules that govern Avatars.

Application

All Avatars must be applied for and may infact be subjected to an RP test/interview. This must have atleast 1 of the top wizards on the muck present for it as well as atleast 2 staff members. Atleast 3 people must agree and the number of yes votes must exceed over 2/3rds+1 to grant an Avatar. With this said the ideal number of people for processing an Avatar application are 5-6

Death

Given that Avatars are mere mortal incarnations with a sliver of the power of their patron. The avatar like all mortal beings is easily capable of being killed. The only means by which an Avatar will not die is by old age. Avatars do not age after they have been chosen or in some cases created.

It is rare but possible that an Avatar can come back from the dead. This requires an act of will on the part of the patron in contacting the Trinity to restore them (either by Celebi plucking them out of time or a Jirachi wish) or by petitioning Aruseusu to recreate the Avatar. This is done very rarely as legendaries generally do not have strong emotional ties to their avatars.

Starting

All Avatars start out at level 10 just like everyone else and grow from there. No Exceptions.

League

Avatars who have the same species as their patron may not participate in the league.

Call Patron

Avatars may petition their patron through prayer or whatever other methods are acceptable. This is done very rarely and only in times of earth-shattering cataclysmic events. Avatars found to be abusing this or making frivilous use of this may infact anger their patron and find themselves the target of some not so friendly attention.

OOC NOTE: This requires contacting staff to determine what (if anything) happens.

Spiritually Owned

Avatars are effectively owned by their patron. They are truly like slaves. They may not disobey a direct order from their patron and they may not serve more than one legendary.
