Language

There are many languages on Poqmori. Thankfully there has emerged a singular universally accepted language that all pokemorphs and pokemon are capable of speaking in whole or in part. In ancient times this language was called 'morphspeak' but in recent memory everyone calls this language 'Poqmorian'. It should be noted that Wild-Pokemon do not speak any language although they may understand command words from them.

Poqmorian (Common)

The language that has been mandated by The Council for everyone to learn and is in fact required learning in all schools receiving funding from The Council is Poqmorian. This language is spoken by almost 99.9% of the population of Poqmori.

The features of this language is that it uses primarily sounds which are common to both a majority of pokemorph and pokemon vocal cords for 'content' or 'messaging'. The problem with common is that without the larger vocal range it is often hard to tell if someone is joking or not, as such it tends to be used more for public announcements, court proceedings and other 'official' or 'formal' functions like diplomacy.

Poqmorian (Pokemon/Pokemorph)

The individual dialects of both pokemon and pokemorph varieties of common use their entire sounds of their vocal range for 'messaging'. The only difference is that a pokemon cannot speak pokemorph and vice versa. They almost always understand each other. It is quite common for people to use these dialects more often than the official common as it tends to better at conveying non-vocal messages such as tone.

Tundrian

The language of The Tundria Union is known as Tundrian. It is the Poqmori equivalent of Russian.

Imperial Pethese

This language is a single main language with plenty of derivative dialects for local areas. It most closely resembles Asian language family.

Tiamogadish

Closely resembles Spanish language

Kyotish

The language the guilds tend to use resembles the Italian language.
